Bosaso, Puntland
The French navy vessel off the coast of Somali delivered two pirates corpses in the port of Bosaso, on Monday.
The corpses were two pirates that were killed by the French commandos on Friday, when the French navy took over a hijacked yacht. The French did not hand over the remaining three pirates that they captured during that operation.
The two pirates were identified as Mohamed Kudaje and Said Ano Kub, both men were locals from Puntland region. The bodies were later given to their relatives for funeral.
The Puntland authorities welcomed the French and US navy operations that left 5 Somali pirates dead, on Friday and Sunday. Puntland administration said that they were not able to Stop the pirates and advice not pay any ransom to the pirates.
