At least four Somali Pirates who were handed over by French navy have been arrested in Bosaso prison.
These transferred pirates were among 8 pirates attacked by Yemeni forces in the Gulf of Aden, after they attempted to hijack a vessel.
On of the pirates who spoke to Horseed Media denied they were Pirates, but smugglers of illegal immigrants to Yemen.
“Yemen forces have attacked air and sea, they killed two of our friends, and injured four of as, they also ransacked the machine boat” he added the Pirate.
These Pirates were rescued by French Navies who are taking part the fight against Somali pirates.
On Monday last week, French troops handed over to Puntland four pirates, two of them dead.
